At seventeen, I found myself a world traveler; visiting Milan, Venice and Spain. I was flabbergasted upon seeing the traffic and driving habits of Italians for the first time. I spent the first ride home from the airport holding my breath, silently praying I would make it to my host family's apartment. After a week or two, I got used to the chaotic driving. We also traveled by train that summer, which was another fun adventure. We had a private little car where we kicked back and relaxed for the duration of the trip. Bus rides were common during the day to travel around the cities. My favorite method of transport turned out to be motorcycles. Perched on the back of a motorcycle was by far the most exciting way to travel. I felt so alive and free on the back of a motorcycle.
